Made in the US from hardwood maple veneer and trimmed in solid hardwood beech. It features a unique balancing mechanism with our safe, piston lift system. Everything up to 16" tall can remain on the desk when you open the bed. It accepts an 11" thick mattress that sits into a wood surround, which gives you a place to tuck in your bedding. Our beds are made from Maple hardwood veneer and trimmed in solid hardwood Beech. When selecting a lighter-stained wood, this difference will create a two-tone appearance, with the trim darker. You can see examples of this in photos of light-stained beds on this catalog website. The finish is water-based. We recommend using a blotter or desk topper to protect the desktop finish.
Variations in color, grain, and natural markings are inherent to real wood and are not considered defects. Each piece will have unique tonal differences and may subtly reveal joinery and grain patterns, reflecting authentic wood craftsmanship.

Our Bolt and Nut System
Our desk bed goes together with bolts, making it the easiest in the industry to assemble. It is designed with a bolt-and-nut system. Once assembled, this bolt system can never be pulled apart.
ASSEMBLY
It can be assembled and disassembled hundreds of times over a lifetime of use and can be moved should you change homes. Because of this design, if you no longer need your bed, it can be handed down to others and should never end up in a landfill.
To open the bed

Release the two black locks on each side of the cabinet.

Stand in front of the desk, take hold of the handle, and pull while you are also pushing down on the desk.

Once partially opened, the piston lift system takes over to assist as it opens to the floor.

Never push down on the bed.
To close the bed
-
Stand in front of the bed and lift the mattress platform.
-
Once the bed is partially lifted, grab the handle to control its closing.
-
Never let the bed slam closed.
