Our beds are made from Maple hardwood veneer and trimmed in solid hardwood Beech. When selecting a lighter-stained wood, this difference will create a two-tone appearance, with the trim darker. You can see examples of this in photos of light-stained beds on this catalog website.

Slight variation in color will occur between this and the actual product. Actual product may also have grain pattern, character markings and dark or light variations. The overall appearance will provide an even coloring, but subtly reveal the joinery seams and wood grain effects of your true wood furniture. Please refer to the actual wood sample.
we offer two heights for the queen vertical storage pier cabinet-90" high for a continuous built-in look (perfect when you can only fit one pier cabinet), or 85" high for a stepped look.

To care for furniture with a water-based lacquer finish, dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and clean only when necessary using a damp cloth with a mild soap solution, drying thoroughly afterward. Avoid harsh chemicals, excessive water, and direct heat, and use protective pads under items with rubber, plastic, or felt bases to prevent damage.
Cleaning and maintenance
-
Dust regularly: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to dust the surface at least weekly.
-
Clean when necessary: For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth dipped in warm water with a tiny amount of mild dish soap. Wring the cloth out so it is only slightly damp, not dripping wet.
-
Wipe in direction of grain: Use down strokes or wipe in the direction of the wood grain when cleaning.
-
Dry immediately: Always follow up with a dry cloth to remove all excess moisture.
-
Avoid harsh chemicals: Never use ammonia, bleach, or other harsh chemicals, as they can damage the finish.
Protection and prevention
-
Use protective pads: Place pads, cloth, or felt under items with rubber, plastic, or felt bottoms (like some electronics, clocks, or bookends) to prevent damage.
-
Protect from heat: Keep furniture away from direct heat sources like radiators or vents. Use coasters and placemats for hot items, and avoid placing hot dishes directly on the surface.
-
Protect from sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the finish to fade.
-
Wipe up spills immediately: Clean up spills of liquids or food right away to prevent damage, using a blotting rather than a wiping action for spills.
Important considerations
-
Do not use oil or polish: Lacquer finishes do not need furniture polish or oiling, and using them can sometimes cause damage or streaks.
-
Avoid plastic objects: Do not store plastic objects directly on the lacquered surface, as they can cause dents or other damage.
-
Curing period: Treat the furniture with extra care for the first month after it is finished, as it is still curing. Avoid placing heavy objects on the surface during this time.
-
Humidity: Maintain consistent humidity levels. Avoid placing furniture in attics, basements, or garages where humidity fluctuates drastically.
