bolt system
Our beds are designed with a through bolt system so they can be taken apart and assembled hundreds of time over a lifetime of use. Our beds can be moved when you change homes. Because of this design,if you no longer need the bed, your beds can be handed down to others and should never end up in a landfill. Our beds go together with just 14 bolts making them the easiest in the industry to assemble .
SIMPLY BETTER CONSTRUCTION
other beds on the market are built with a cam lock system into particle board which is not as secure and can come apart if the bed is improperly moved. Disassembly and reassembly can also be problematic.

Our Mattress Platform has over 100 linear feet of internal support struts that act like I-Beams. These supports allow your mattress to flex like a box spring would do, and most importantly they allow air to flow under your mattress to prevent mold and mildew from forming.
other brand beds use a faster and cheaper method of construction by using pocket bores to hold the framework together and your mattress sits on top of a flat surface.

The Mattress Surround has sides to contain your mattress. This keeps your mattress in place and provides a way to tuck in your bedding so you can keep your bed made and ready to use when it is closed.
With other brands the mattress sits on top of the platform with elastic straps to keep it in place. Without a way to tuck in your bedding, when you close your bed your bedding can fall down behind.
Our beds foundation is constructed with 20 feet of structure material that is glued, stapled and screwed together for an extremely strong base to keep your bed properly aligned and square.
Our beds include a sturdy foundation with a finished cabinet front.
Other brand beds are built with only a decorative trim piece that goes between the two bed sides.
Some brands skip this trim piece completely allowing for dirt, dust and debris to get underneath your bed.

If you stood on a ladder you would see a uniquely designed top that no other manufacturer does. We go to the added expense of making a complete 8 piece structural box frame construction. We then reinforce the top with 3 steel brackets for added strength in this most critical area as this is where you will attach your bed into three wall studs.
Other Brands have a flat top board with L brackets to attach your bed to the wall.

Our beds were designed with safety first. They come with the added feature of a safety cable. It provides an additional safety feature to protect against a faulty installation.
mechanism
Our beds utilize a safe piston lift system. It provides the longest life we could find, and are easy to replace when they have rare problems. Our gas pistons have been tested in both lab and use conditions for 16,000 cycles with no noticable wear or change in performance. Last of all, if a piston fails, which we see in only one in 5000 cases, it does so by quietly losing its power, not with a bang or crash.
