Every detail is designed so the table disappears completely-and holds up to daily commercial-grade use when open.
Recessed Table Invisible When Closed
The table is engineered into the front face of the Murphy bed cabinet and secured by dual push button latches. Whn the bed is closed the table is competely hidden- no visible hardware, no panels sticking out.
Safety Latched Table Legs
Table legs sit underneath the table top and latched into place. They can not be kicked out or collasped under the load. Commercial-grade safety for daily use.

Our own exclusive solo mechanism with slow release pistons, preciscely controls the pivot point so the bed operates smoothly every time.
Real Queen Mattress
Accepts a standard queen mattress up to 12" thick, not a fold-up mattress. The mattress sits in a wood surround-store it fully made with sheets and blankets. Pillows must be removed.
HOW IT WORKS
Table to Bed in Seconds
OPEN THE TABLE
Lift the panel support leg. While holding the table closed, press the two push button latches on the each side of the table. Open the table with one hand, and with your other hand rotate the table legs 180 degrees as you lower them to the floor. Engage the leg safety latches.
FOLD IT AWAY
Rotate the table legs back on top of the table and push the tabletop into the bed cabinet. Secure the table with the dual push button latches. Lower the panel support leg. The table is completely hidden in the cabinet front.
OPEN THE BED
Lift the panel support leg to release the bed from the cabinet. Grab hold of the bed and pull. Once partially open the piston system gently lowers a real queen-size bed-made and ready- to the floor in seconds.
BACK TO TABLE
Raise the bed and in the same space is your dining room or home office. No moving furniture-no folding cots. The room serves both functions everyday.

Q: Is the table sturdy enough for daily use?
Yes. The table legs are safety-latched in place so they can not be kicked out or collapse under normal loads. All our table beds are engineered for daily use, not occasional use. Over 15,000 are in homes across the country.
Q; What exactly is a Murphy table bed?
It is a wall bed with a full-size dining or work table built into the front panel. When the bed is raised, the table locks into the cabinet face, completely hidden. When you need the table, you press the push button latches to fold it out. One unit-two complete functions.
Q: Can you tell if the table is there when it is completely closed?
No-that's what makes it remarkable. The table is recessed into the cabinet front and secured by push-button latches. When closed the surface is flush with no visible hardware.
Q: Do I need a professional to install it?
Most customers install their beds themselves with a helper. Every order includes a detailed installation guide. We offer factory help over the phone should you need it. The cabinet must be secured into wall studs. If you'd prefer professional help, third-party installation services are available in most areas.
Q: How large is the table?
The Remington and Emory tables are 40" wide x 51" deep, while the Baywood table is 48" wide x 40" deep. All at a standard 29" table height. That's a genuine two-person dining or work surface, not a small fold out tray.
Q: Can I customize the finish?
All models come in a range of stain finishes at no extra charge. Paint finishes (White, Alabaster, Espresso, Cobalt) are available for $250 more. Call us for a free design consultation and we'll send you finish samples.
