By placing an order and approving our terms and conditions, you confirm that you have reviewed your order and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. CUSTOM ORDERS, CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Murphy beds, desk beds, table beds, cabinets, and related furniture are built to order.

• Orders cancelled before shipment are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

• Changes may be requested within 5 business days of the order date. Later changes may require cancellation and reordering and may be subject to additional charges.

• Once a custom product has shipped, the sale is final and non-returnable, except as required by law or covered by the written warranty.

• All mattress sales are final.

2. MEASUREMENTS, CEILING HEIGHT & ACCESS

The customer is responsible for confirming that all purchased components will fit in the intended room and can be safely moved through the home.

• Vertical Murphy beds require a minimum 96-inch ceiling height.

• Beds are designed for baseboards up to 6 inches high.

• The assembled mattress tray is approximately 83” × 63” × 9”.

Before ordering, verify doorways, hallways, stairways, elevators, landings, ceiling height, turning clearances, and other access points. Notify Wallbeds Company before ordering of narrow or steep stairs, tight turns, limited headroom, elevators, unusual wall construction, or other access concerns.

3. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Wallbeds Company may cancel an order if the destination cannot be serviced by its shipping providers.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and being available to schedule and accept delivery. If delivery cannot be completed because of customer unavailability, incorrect information, failure to schedule, or refusal of delivery, the shipment may be returned at the customer’s expense.

Returned shipments will be held for up to 30 days. Reshipment requires payment of applicable shipping, storage, and redelivery charges. Orders not reshipped within 30 days may be treated as cancelled and subject to the applicable cancellation policy.

Delivery dates are estimates and may change because of weather, carrier schedules, transportation delays, or circumstances beyond our control. Do not schedule installers, movers, contractors, or other paid labor until your furniture has been delivered. Wallbeds Company and its carriers are not responsible for costs resulting from delayed or rescheduled deliveries.

4. INSTALLATION & ANCHORING

Murphy beds must be securely anchored to suitable structural framing. Installation into drywall alone is prohibited.

If you install the product yourself or hire your own installer, you accept responsibility for proper assembly, lifting, wall evaluation, hardware selection, anchoring, and safe installation.

Installation involving metal studs, concrete, brick, masonry, plaster, or unusual wall construction requires special hardware and a qualified or licensed contractor.

Improper installation, anchoring, modification, or relocation may cause injury or property damage and may affect warranty coverage. If the product is moved, it must be properly reinstalled and anchored before use.

5. INSPECTION, STORAGE & CARE

Inspect all components before installation. If a component appears damaged or defective, stop installation and contact Wallbeds Company LLC.

Products must be stored indoors in a dry, climate-controlled environment. Damage caused by moisture, humidity, improper storage, or outdoor exposure is not covered.

Real wood naturally varies in grain, color, mineral streaks, and character. Normal wood variation and seasonal movement are not manufacturing defects.

6. LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser:

• 10-Year Limited Warranty: mechanism components, including gas pistons, steel plates, mechanical hardware, and related mechanism fasteners.

• 1-Year Limited Warranty: manufacturing defects in wood furniture components.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, natural wood variation, finish wear or fading, misuse, accidents, moisture damage, improper storage, commercial use, improper installation or anchoring, relocation, unauthorized modification, incorrect hardware, or damage caused by site or wall conditions.

Labor and transportation are not covered unless specifically stated in the written warranty or required by law.

7. PRODUCT USE & SAFETY

Products are intended for residential indoor use unless otherwise specified.

Follow all operating and safety instructions. Children should not operate or play on a Murphy bed without adult supervision. Do not jump, climb, swing, hang from handles, stand on desk or table surfaces, modify the mechanism, or install unauthorized components.

8. LIABILITY & GENERAL TERMS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wallbeds Company LLC is not responsible for injury, property damage, loss, or expense resulting from customer handling, self-installation, third-party installation, improper anchoring, misuse, modification, unsuitable site conditions, or failure to follow instructions.

To the extent permitted by law, Wallbeds Company LLC will not be liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, and total liability will not exceed the purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

These Terms & Conditions constitute the agreement between the customer and Wallbeds Company LLC. Changes must be in writing and authorized by Wallbeds Company LLC. California law governs these terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing below, I confirm that:

• I have reviewed and approved my order, including model, size, finish, cabinets, lighting, hardware, dimensions, quantities, and options.

• I understand that my furniture is built to order and subject to the cancellation, change, and final-sale provisions above.

• I have verified that the product can be safely moved through all doorways, hallways, stairs, elevators, turns, and other access points.

• I understand that vertical Murphy beds require a minimum 96-inch ceiling height and are designed for baseboards 6 inches high or less.

• I understand that Murphy beds must be properly anchored to structural framing and that I am responsible for proper installation if I install the product myself or hire a third party.

• I have received, reviewed, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
